LEATHER CARE GUIDE

Full-grain leather

Whether it's matt, patent or oiled, leather has a high resistance to wear and is fairly easy to maintain.

Waterproof your shoes to protect them from the rain, snow and any everyday stains.
Regularly and lightly clean them with a soft brush to remove everyday dirt: dust, stains etc. Polish shoes to give leather a new lease of life.
Choose a wax that matches the colour of the leather or a matt/shiny natural translucent wax depending on the original leather. For example, if the tip is worn, we recommend you still polish the entire shoe for a consistent result.

Suede

Suede leather is the underside of the skin and may be split from thick hide.

Suede should be treated more carefully.
Waterproof your shoes to protect them from the rain, snow and any everyday stains using a regular waterproof spray.
Regularly and lightly clean them with a soft brush to remove everyday dirt: dust, stains etc.
Do not use wax or polish!

Nubuck

Nubuck may not be as well-known as other types of leather but it's certainly the easiest to maintain.

Waterproof your shoes to protect them from the rain, snow and any everyday stains using a regular waterproof spray.
Clean shoes with a piece of natural crape. Use a brass bristle brush for tougher stains. Failing that, use a cream or polish to match the colour of the leather. For persistent stains, clean with soapy water and leave to dry in the air.
Spray with dye to match the colour of the leather.
