How to care for your shoes ?
Because we know that not all of you have a doctorate in shoe polish, we thought it was our duty to explain to you how to take care of your leather shoes. Because it must be said, leather shoes, for men and women, must be pampered. Their longevity depends on it (and that of the planet too, for that matter!)
Before discovering when and how to clean the leather of your shoes, a little reminder of the golden rules in terms of leather care.

Clean your smooth leather shoes with a soft brush, without pressing too hard, to remove everyday dirt such as dust and stains. Finally, finish with a coat of polish to give the leather a new lease of life. Be careful to choose a polish that is the same colour as your shoes or a natural translucent polish, otherwise you may end up with shoes that look two-tone.
The suede leather shoes are designed with the flesh side of the original leather, which gives them this supple and soft aspect to the touch. Delicate, suede leather does not like rain or any other situation likely to stain it. To know how to take good care of your suede shoes, read the following. Dust them with a crepe brush, insisting on the areas where the stains are in order to make them disappear. Choose a colorless waterproofing spray and spray it evenly on your leather shoes. Keep a distance of 20 cm between the spray and your shoes. Repeat this step regularly to ensure continued protection.
Although patent leather is a more durable and easier to maintain material than smooth leather or suede, it still needs to be properly cared for to retain its shine. Please note that, unlike its counterparts, patent leather does not require any special attention before being worn. Avoid using waterproofing products, which could weaken your shoes. Instead, start by dusting your patent leather shoes with a soft cloth (a microfibre cloth will do the trick).
Then apply a little cleansing milk to remove any daily marks and dirt.
