BLAKE STITCH

We have always relied on the quality of the leather and the assembly technique in the manufacture of our shoes so that they are as comfortable and durable as possible. Created by Lyman Reed Blake in 1858, blake mounting is a solid stitching technique for shoe mounting linking the insole, outer sole and upper of the shoe (outer part that covers the foot).

The blake stitch is highly appreciated for the finesse and elegance it gives to the sole of the shoe and is commonly used for the realization of models moccasins, derbies and brogues. Easily recognizable by its visible seam under the shoe, it delights lovers of flexible and sturdy shoes.
